“Mill Girls” tells the story of young women in the 1840s who leave home to work at the textile mills of Lowell, Massachusetts. This musical portrays the women’s struggle for independence and their creative pursuits that led to activism that initiated the modern worker’s movement.

The show will run May 7 – 8 on Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 2 pm. All performances will take place in Ford’s Machine Shop located in the basement of 2133 Sheridan Rd., Evanston, IL 60628.
