Dr. Sliman Bensmaia, an Assistant Professor of Biology & Anatomy at the University of Chicago, studies how we sense the world around us and how bionic arms that interact directly with the nervous system can restore sensation and movement to amputee patients. Finally, join Dr. Callum Ross, an Associate Professor at the University of Chicago in Anatomy, as he discusses how monkeys can bite so hard and not break their teeth and the implications for human dental health, in a talk titled, ‘Oh My, What Hard Teeth you Have!’.
