Speak Up for Science: March for Science

April 14, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

In April, 2017, IL Science Council joined nearly sixty thousand Chicagoans, marching together with science supporters in over 600 cities around the world, to stand up for science, asserting, We are Chicago. We are the city of big shoulders and big science. Chicago is home to the most extraordinary breadth and depth of science research not found in any other city in America. This year on April 12th please join ISC again as we Speak Up for Science!

The Field Museum and United Sciences of Chicago invite the city to join them at The Field’s south terrace on Museum Campus for Speak Up For Science, the city’s official March for Science event: a science fair and rally to celebrate science and advocate for its advancement and protection. You’ll meet Field Museum scientists, learn about concrete ways you can fight for the planet, share your voice with legislators through a postcard-writing campaign, explore the museum (for free), and more! Details here.

Be sure to stop by ISC’s table to learn about the Chicago Science Festival coming up May 8-16 and the events we host year-round bringing science to Chicagoans.
