DESCRIPTION:Chicago’s iconic State Street closes to traffic on 2 Sundays this summer (7/16 and 8/13) as it transforms into the extremely creative FREE street festival “Sundays on State.” ISC is serving up SCIENCE with the most interesting\, engaging\, and photo-friendly booth to complement the typical food\, art\, and sales displays. This year we’ll have: \n\nreal human and animal brains\, along with neuroscientists to chat with;\nlive geckos\, salamanders\, snakes\, and insects people can handle and pose with;\nanimal skeletons; \nmicroscope-viewing of brain cells; and\nbrain games to play\n\nIf you have any fears or hesitations about snakes\, reptiles\, this the perfect opportunity for an easy\, low-key\, no-stress\, friendly and informative experience to reduce anxiety. You’ll get to see cute geckos\, maybe a bearded dragon\, and cute little snakes. You can also learn about your brain and talk with real neuroscientists.
