Join Illinois Science Council, AWIS, the C2ST, Chientist, and ChiTownBio for a joint event of networking, socializing, and science!

We have an amazing panel of local scientists and educators who will discuss their research and great opportunities they are creating for citizen scientists. They are blazing paths for everyone to partake in generating data that can be used to advance our world of knowledge and advocate for the world we want to see. There will be Q&A with the panelists followed by networking and discussions about how we can all work together to make Chicagoland more sustainable.

Our panelists:

• Liza Watson Lehrer from the Urban Wildlife Institute at the Lincoln Park Zoo
• Taran Lichtenberger from Budburst at the Chicago Botanic Garden
• Olivia Reda from the Adopt-a-Beach Program at the Alliance for the Great Lakes

Doors open at 6:00; panel begins at 6:30pm.
