The University of Chicago celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Brinson Lecture series and welcomes Professor Richard Ellis of University College London.

Professor Ellis will deliver the Astronomy & Astrophysics Department’s Brinson Lecture on Thurs. May 17th at 6 pm, at the School of the Art Institute Maclean Ballroom (112 S. Michigan Ave, Chicago). The 2018 lecture is entitled “Let There Be Light: The Observational Quest for the First Galaxies”.

Doors open at 5:30 pm and the talk is free and open to the public. ASL interpretation will be provided.
