Unveiling the Universe: What do Radio Wavelengths Reveal?

With Professor Farhad Yousef-Zaddeh, Department of Physics and Department of Physics and Astronomy, Northwestern University

Ever wonder what’s inside the thick dust and gas clouds near the Milky Way’s center?  Until the birth of radio astronomy came along, scientists were unable to determine.  Now by using radio telescopes we are able to observe, analyze, and interpret data from this part of our universe. You may be amazed to learn what has been found! Please join us at this month’s Science Café to learn more about Professor Zadeh’s latest research and about the history of radio astronomy.
