Launched in September 2016, Osiris-rex will collect a sample from the asteroid Bennu and bring it back to Earth. But first it has to complete a flyby of Earth in order to gain enough speed to reach the asteroid. On Sept. 22 it will attempt to do that. Learn more about Osiris-rex here.
