March 10th, 2013 — Our own Monica Metzler, Founding Director of the Illinois Science Council, was quoted in the Chicago Tribune Sunday Arts & Entertainment section today, in the article “Taking Science to the Masses.” The article, which covers scientists bringing science to the public, also focuses on the work of Chicago’s Neil Shubin and his work in evolutionary paleontology and New York’s Neil deGrasse Tyson, who is an astrophysicist.
